A great way to clear your mind, or simply enjoy a romantic walk, is along the majestic riverbank of the Danube River. I recommend starting from the Eurovea Galleria shopping centre and walking through Tyrsovo Nabrezie, where you can take in the beautiful bridges like Starý Most, Apollo Bridge, Most SNP. Along the way, you find some lovely parks, cafes & restaurants facing the Danube river.

Dunajský Pivovar is the first brewery on a boat on the Danube River. They serve some of the best beers in Bratislava and you can also have lunch & dinner, or simply stop by for coffee and cake. It is a must-go for anyone who enjoys brewed beer in an unusual setting. Located on Tryšovo Nábrežie the easiest way to get there is to walk over the UFO bridge (Most SNP); it is a pleasant five minutes walk. Opening hours are:

The Bratislava circuit is a panoramic cruise beneath the Bratislava bridges with unusual views of the city from the deck of the boat. Cruises depart from Bratislava Passenger Port, situated on the left bank of the Danube River, just a few steps from the historical Bratislava downtown. There's also a cruise going all the way to Devín Castle. The season for cruises starts on the 7th of May, a must if you want to admire the city from a different perspective!

From Bratislava you find a ferry service going to Vienna. The journey takes one hour and 15 minutes. A great opportunity if you want to explore Austria’s capital on the same day!
