My favorite places in the Arctic

3 years ago, I moved from Italy to Norway, and now I live above the Arctic Circle, at 71° N - in the Northernmost city of continental Europe — Honningsvåg.

I had the chance to visit different places in the Arctic, in Finland and Norway, and here I chose my favourite destinations.

But first.. What is the Arctic Circle?

The Arctic Circle is the latitude line around the Earth, at approximately 66°30′ N.

Because of the Earth's inclination, the centre of the sun can remain continuously above or below the horizon for twenty-four hours.
